Whatcha Think?
I know I've been quiet for awhile now, but rest assured I have been working my ass off getting everything ready for the release of Ascension: The Revelation - which has been officially scheduled for August 31, 2011, and for the release of Eternal Embrace (A Darkness Within, #3), which has been officially scheduled for October 31, 2011. Things are going really well, just ridiculously busy at the same time...especially since the Heathen starts school again on August 24th. 
I also wanted to pass along that Ascension: The Revelation will only release as an e-book since it's a novella...not a full novel. Granted, most novellas currently on the market tend to run around 20,000 words in length, and each of the Ascension novellas are closer to 50,000 - but I'm still calling them novellas. The second novella in the trilogy, Ascension: The Reckoning, will also release exclusively in e-book format. But the third and final novella, Ascension: The Rapture, will release in e-book and print format. The print version will contain all 3 novellas in one book.
And finally, I wanted to share with you the mock-up for the cover of Eternal Embrace. I'd love to hear your thoughts about the design if you'd be willing to share. And don't worry, you can tell me if you don't like it...I have my big girl pants on today. Click on the cover to see a larger version of the image.

Yay! More books is always good news. One question is who is the main character going to be in Eternal Embrace in October?
First you must understand that I love your stuff but you asked what I think of this cover and I have to say I don’t really care for the bald head, the forehead looks to big and his eyes look hateful. He’s just not appealing to me. I don’t get the tall, dark and dangerous vib from him, all I get is evil. There as to be some appeal…eye candy can look tough and rough too.
Hope I didn’t piss you off, that was not my intent.
I am so looking forward to this book and Ascension too.

Unfortunately, Oktober is bald, and that’s not something about him I’m going to change. However, I did pass your other suggestions on to my artist, so hopefully the new version will suit you better. I just posted the new cover in a different post, so feel free to let me know what you think about that one!

For what it’s worth, I think that it’s a great cover, but…
The reason for the “but” is that I sort of agree with cindyg – not that I think there’s anything wrong with bald heads (although I did used to have hair – once!), but it’s kinda hard to decide at a glance if he represents a good guy or a bad guy – if you see what I mean.
Maybe that’s intentional and maybe he’s a bit of each, but it might confuse some people.
I hope you don’t mind (you did say you have you big girl pants on), but maybe it’ll help a bit…
It says eternal embrace will be release in the year 2011. But when I look at amazon or other areas on the website, eternal embrace has not been released yet. So my questions are: is eternal embrace released? If so, may I have a link to purchase it as an ebook? Are there any other books you have released other than eternal seduction and eternal heart? I really love all of your books, but I’m having such trouble finding them!
